Product Description

The Beefsteak Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) is a garden favourite. Whereas other tomatoes are small and sweet, Beefsteaks are known for their big size and rich, meaty flavour. These hefty tomatoes are prized for their dense, fleshy texture and robust taste, making them perfect for sandwiches, salads, or as the star of a Caprese dish. These Costoluto Fiorentino Beefsteak Tomato seeds were awarded "Best Buy" status by the Gardening Press and Consumer Groups.

Our Costoluto Fiorentino Beefsteak Tomato seeds produce indeterminate plants that yield large, irregularly ribbed Italian-style fruits up to 10cm (4 inches) in diameter. These plants thrive in full sun and rich, well-drained soil. As a semi-determinate variety, they grow to a manageable height, typically 1 to 1.5 metres (3 to 5 feet), and require minimal pruning.

Grow your own award-winning tomatoes with our Costoluto Fiorentino Beefsteak Tomato seeds. Pair them with our basil seeds for fresh Italian recipes, or our sweet pepper seeds for chilli and more. Or, take a look at the rest of our indoor tomato seeds and outdoor tomato seeds instead.
