Nasturtium Seeds

Nasturtiums are bright and eye-catching enough to rival any other summer blooms. They make wonderful formal garden flowers, giving several months of fantastic colour.

Bush-type nasturtium seeds grow into neat little mounds, perfect for pots and the front of the border whilst trailing nasturtiums are climbing plants that can be trained to grow gracefully up trellises and walls. Their colourful flowers and peppery leaves are edible, too – grow them alongside salad leaf seeds and other edible flowers to add a unique twist to summer salads!

Nasturtium seeds are wonderfully easy to grow, even for beginners. Simply sow outdoors in a sunny spot with light, well-draining soil. Or, sow indoors for earlier blooms, hardening plants off before moving them outside. Don’t feed your nasturtiums, as rich soil encourages plants to grow foliage rather than blooms.
