Portable, easy to grow and easy to harvest. Plant 4 seed potatoes (use early or salad potato varieties) in multi-purpose compost in the inner pot and check on their progress by lifting up the inner pot out of the outer pot. The best results are achieved if the seed is “pre-sprouted” or “chitted” before planting. Pick new potatoes from the pot all season. After approx. 8 weeks (if pre-chitted) you can begin to harvest your own new potatoes. You would need additional 2 weeks if using non pre-chitted potatoes. This can be repeated many times – right up until the first frosts. A fun and tasty delight for the whole family.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eGrowing instructions:\u003cbr\u003e• Place the inner pot inside the outer pot.\u003cbr\u003e• Add compost to a depth of 5cm – 10cm\u003cbr\u003e• Plant the 4 seed potatoes approx. 5 cm from the outside of the pot and in the middle of each window. Place the seed potatoes halfway up the height of the pot.\u003cbr\u003e• The tubers should be covered with compost either in stages as the plants grow directly or until the pot is full.\u003cbr\u003e• Water thoroughly and set the pot in a warm\/light location.\u003cbr\u003e• From 4 weeks water regularly and feed with a balanced liquid fertiliser. When watering, avoid wetting the foliage as this will encourage blight\u003cbr\u003e• Check on the development by lifting the inner pot up.\u003cbr\u003e• From 10 weeks, after emergence, lift the inner pot out and pick any visible tubers.
