Grow Flowers to Plant in September

September is the perfect opportunity to plant certain varieties of flowers before the first frost of winter. Giving your hardy plants the chance to establish before the weather gets too cold will increase their chances of surviving winter. Just be sure to allow them to acclimate outdoors before potting them or planting them in their final position.

As the weather gradually begins to get rainier, you don’t want to overwater your flowers to plant in September. Instead, check that the soil remains moist and do your best to prevent waterlogging.
