Stock Hot Cakes Mixed Seeds

Sow: indoors thinly from January to March, in pots or trays of seed compost. Cover with a quarter-inch (0.5cm) of compost and keep moist. Maintain a gentle warmth, 15-20°C (60-68°F). a warm kitchen windowsill is often sufficient. Once seedlings have produced true leaves, reduce temperature to approx. 10°C (50°F) the leaves will become either light or dark, the light leaved ones are the double ones. Thin (prick out) 2in (5cm) to further pots and trays. Gradually harden off and plant out in late May, allowing 6in (15cm) between plants.
