Product Description

One of our best selling beans, now available as plants! Moonlight was the first (and we think the best) self-pollinating runner bean, giving bigger yields of tasty, stringless pods even in poor British summers. Moonlight is a vigorous climber, producing masses of attractive white flowers that set well to give a bumper harvest.

Runner bean plants

Very pleased with my late order of runner beans- healthy plants and a lot bigger and more of them than I was expecting

Vigorous

For many years I have planted seeds indoors to start my Runners off and transplanted outdoors. This has worked well until this year when my first batch of 12 failed to germinate and then another batch of 12 followed the same pattern (they were from a well known producer and bought this year in date). So I bought some plants from Mr Fothergills. They arrived OK and after planting out have taken off. Looking good so far.
