Raspberry Joan J Fruit Plants make late-summer picking especially rewarding, producing heavy crops of large, bright red berries with a deliciously sweet, juicy flavour. This RHS Award of Garden Merit primocane fruits on the current season's growth, extending the home-grown raspberry harvest into autumn.
The upright canes are spine-free, making it much easier for everyone to reach in and enjoy ripe berries straight from the plant. Joan J is straightforward to prune too: simply cut all the canes back to ground level in late winter, ready for fresh fruiting growth the following season.
