Enjoy delicious new potatoes from your garden with second cropping spuds. These specially selected tubers are put into temperature controlled storage to keep them dormant to the middle of summer so that they can be planted in late July and August to give you a crop which is later. They are ready in two months from planting but crops can then be left in the soil until you want them - they can even be used for fresh, home-grown spuds for Christmas lunch!
Plant the tubers as soon as received, they do not need to be chitted. Keep them frost-free to ensure good crop, if grown in bags move them to frost-free position. They will be ready to start lifting by the end of October/November. Best kept in the ground or container until just before needed.
Potato Pentland Javelin - Pentland Javelin is one of the most disease-resistant potatoes. It gives very good crops of smooth skinned, white fleshed, round potatoes.
