Philadelphus are perhaps best loved for their deliciously fragrant flowers which are a delight to the senses, it is therefore best planted somewhere it blooms and fragrance can be fully appreciated. Well branched, dense and busy with attractive deep green leaves, these low maintenance shrubs will tolerate most soil types and locations. Can be relied on to provide eye-catching garden displays, at the back of a border, as summer screening or as a single specimen plant.
