Description

Muscari armeniacum Bulbs, also known as Armenian grape hyacinths, produce dense spikes of deep blue, almost heliotrope flowers delicately fringed with pure white. Their compact habit makes them wonderfully versatile for edging borders and paths, filling containers or naturalising beneath trees and through lawns.

Supplied as a pack of 20 bulbs, plants reach around 15cm (6in) and flower from March to April. They establish readily, attract pollinators and can form increasingly generous drifts over time. Plant from September to November in well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade.

Bulb size: 8/9
Bulb sizes are measured by circumference in centimetres. An 8/9 bulb measures approximately 8-9cm around. Larger bulbs generally contain more stored energy, helping to support strong growth and an impressive flowering display.
