Product Description
A delightful hydrangea which blooms from mid-summer to mid-autumn. Its large, fluffy, pyramid-shaped flower panicles begin as creamy-white blossoms and gradually transform into enchanting shades of pink as they age. Finally, they take on rich pink tones, resembling the hues of a sweet vanilla-infused strawberry. The deep green leaves turn a captivating red or purple colour in the autumn. With its fragrant blooms and stunning colour transitions, Hydrangea paniculata ‘Vanille Fraise’ is a showstopper in any garden situation. Can reach a height of approximately 2m (6'6") if left unpruned, with a similar spread. However it responds well to a simple pruning in autumn or early spring to retain a more compact shape suitable to smaller gardens and containers. The striking flower heads also make incredible cut flowers for large arrangements.
