Herb Mushroom Plant

This handy little plant is native to New Guinea, where it is traditionally used for its nutritional benefits and to add a mushroom-like flavour to recipes. The mushroom plant is high in iron, vitamin C, vitamin A, calcium and protein. It looks and grows much like Basil, but the leaves offer a unique mushroom-like aroma and can be eaten raw or added to all kinds of dishes from stir-frys to soups. Suitable for container growing. Keep frost free in winter.
