Geranium Seed Mixture - Hardy

GROWING INSTRUCTIONS: Sow indoors, January-March, in pots or trays of seed compost. Just cover the seed with a sprinkling of compost, and place in an unheated frame or greenhouse. Keep moist. Germination may be erratic, so prick out seedlings as they develop. Further germination may be prompted by covering with plastic and leaving outside to chill for 2-3 weeks, after which bring into a greenhouse at approx. 10°C (50°F). Grow on to form established plants before planting out to final position, spacing 25cm (10”) apart. Or, outdoors, October-January, in pots. In spring, place any ungerminated pots under glass to encourage germination. Flowers: Spring to autumn.
