Product Description
Mersley Farm in the Isle of Wight is the 'home of garlic' and this is the first variety that carries its name! Though originating from the Auvergne region in central France across to the volcanic drome in northern Provence, Mersley Wight has proved to be a great variety for the UK gardener with larger cloves and an outstanding vigour, better than many other softnecks.

Originally selected from stock that includes the original Solent Wight, think Solent Wight but bigger! The best keeping quality of any garlic we know – up till June of the year following harvest, that's 10 months! Ideal for late autumn/early winter or spring planting.

Each year we work with our friends at the Garlic Farm, one of the world’s leading garlic farms, and all of our garlic is sourced from them ensuring we always supply superior top quality garlic from expert growers. Easy to grow and care for, it can even be grown in pots on the patio! You should always buy garlic from a reputable source and never plant shop bought, cooking garlic. All of our bulbs are certified as disease and virus free.

not good

Sorry about the only two stars.
So the first two bulbs arrived, one was good the other badly rotted and moldy.
Had a replacement two bulbs, again the one was fine, the other (sort of 'the one below') rotted, but that no longer concerned me.
As for growing, they look fine as yet.
I would suggest the packers (or suppliers) pay special attention to this product, people going to be disappointed.

not sure

not sure about these I have grown garlic before I have started them off in single cell trays as I always do to get them started before putting them in the ground but these are sprouting out everywhere about 5 shoots per clove which is not usual its normally one shoot per clove not sure if they have split or what.
