Product Description

An attractive, highly ornamental compact shrub, its evergreen variegated leaves have bright yellow margins and develop a pink tinge in winter. A  dwarf habit makes it exceptionally versatile, perfectly suited to containers, patio edging, as a ground cover, a specimen shrub, or a low hedge. It is fully hardy and easy to maintain, growing happily in various soil types, sun exposures, and positions. It has no significant pests or diseases, but can be harmful if eaten. Although grown mainly for its striking leaves, it does develop small flowers in early summer which attract pollinating insects, followed by little white berries which feed wild birds, especially Robins and Blackbirds.
