An easy to grow, fully hardy shrub that adds a welcome splash of colour to the garden throughout the winter months. It's fiery stems range from yellow to orange and red, glowing like flames in the winter sun to create a vivid contrast against any backdrop. Also known as 'Dogwood', this hard working shrub goes on to provide year round interest, with cluster of small white flowers in spring followed by blue-black berries, and its bright green leaves turn to orange, gold and reds in the autumn. Will eventually grow to 2m (6.5') tall. For best winter colour, coppice established plants every few years by pruning the stems down to 7.5cm (3") tall, in late winter or early spring.
