A British-bred variety which will provide good crops of sweet, tasty medium sized buttons. Their mild flavour can also be enjoyed by children. Very hardy, it stands well throughout the colder months.

Sow & Grow

Sow indoors February to April, 1.5cm (half-inch) deep in pots of seed compost. Keep moist and place in a cool greenhouse or cold frame. Gradually harden off and plant out late in May, spacing 60cm (2ft) apart. Firm in and water well. Or, sow outdoors in final position in March to April 1.5cm (half-inch) deep in a seed bed. Keep moist. Transplant to final position May to June 60cm (2ft) apart. Firm in and water well. Protecy young plants with netting during the early stages of growth. Harvest: December to March.
