Description
Traditionally one of the earliest of summer vegetables, whether the seed is sown in autumn or spring, they are a tasty treat. There are two main types of broad beans; Longpods and Windsors (short pods).
Longpods are hardier, so well suited to autumn plantings for an earlier crop the following year. Superaquadulce is the ultimate in fine longpod broad beans, a classic for autumn planting which is high yielding, resilient and winter hardy.
Grown by experienced nurserymen, our plants are grown to exacting standards and will be delivered at the right time for growing in their final positions in your garden or plot. Hand graded and packed, they are sent direct from the nursery and are hardened off where necessary. All varieties are supplied with easy-to-follow growing hints and instructions and when you receive your plants, we advise you unpack them immediately, watering them if dry.
