• Potato Sarpo Axona (Late Maincrop Seed Potato)
  A reliable late maincrop producing generous crops of large pink-skinned potatoes with creamy white flesh, perfect for everything from family meals to fluffy jacket potatoes.
• Potato Sarpo Mira (Maincrop Seed Potato)
  An exceptional variety offering outstanding blight resistance, floury potatoes for roasting, baking, mashing and chipping, together with excellent drought tolerance and dependable garden performance.
• Potato Sarpo Una (Second Early Seed Potato)
  An early-maturing variety producing delicious waxy potatoes that are ideal for salads when freshly harvested, while later crops are equally suited to baking.

Growing your own potatoes is one of the most enjoyable ways to harvest fresh, home-grown produce. These Sarpo varieties have been selected to make growing easy while delivering reliable crops and outstanding flavour. Chitting is recommended for the second early variety before planting, and can also help encourage an earlier harvest from the maincrop varieties. Simply stand the tubers with the blunt end facing upwards until sturdy shoots reach approximately 1-1.5cm (½-1in) before planting outdoors.

Plant chitted tubers from mid-April and start harvesting two weeks after the tops have died down, from late August through until October. All these varieties store well throughout the winter using our heavy duty potato sacks in a dark, airy frost-free place.
