Product Description

This popular herb is an essential ingredient in many Italian dishes with strongly flavoured leaves that can be used to perk up tomato dishes, blitzed to make pesto sauce and added to pizzas, pasta and salads.

You'll receive 6 x 9cm potted plants, 2 each of the following varieties:

Sweet Basil - This highly aromatic herb evokes the scent of summer. Sweet Basil, also known as Genovese, is considered to be one of the best varieties of aromatic basil, hailed for its sweet-flavoured leaves and soft texture.

Bush Basil - More compact with smaller aromatic leaves this variety produces clusters of small white tubular flowers in summer. Scatter whole leaves over tomatoes, pasta and rice dishes.

Purple Basil - This purple leaved Basil makes an attractive feature in patio containers or mixed into flower borders, but it is not just ornamental. It has the full basil fragrance and flavour.
