Product Description

Basil is an essential herb and ingredient used in many Italian dishes with strongly flavoured leaves that can be used. Perfect for tomato dishes, blitzed to make pesto sauce and added to pizzas, pasta and salads.

You'll receive 6 x 9cm potted plants, 2 each of the following varieties:

Sweet Basil - Highly aromatic herb that evokes the scent of summer. Also known as Genovese, is considered to be one of the best varieties of aromatic basil, hailed for its sweet-flavoured leaves and soft texture.

Bush Basil - Perfect for scattering over tomatoes, pasta and rice dishes, this compact variety with smaller aromatic leaves produces clusters of small white tubular flowers in summer..

Purple Basil - Makes a lovely ornamental plant in patio containers or mixed into flower borders, but also has the full basil fragrance and flavour.
