Charlotte (Second Early) – This is our most popular variety and the salad variety of choice of many discerning chef’s. With a wonderful flavour and a waxy texture, the tubers also have a good resistance to potato scab and blight.
Red Duke of York (First Early) - A fine, all-round variety, but particularly good as an early salad variety. We love the oval, red skinned tubers with their delicious, moist, yellow flesh.
Setanta (Maincrop) - One of the most blight resistant potatoes available in the UK! Add excellent scab, slug and drought resistance, combine it with great taste and versatility and you've got all the makings of an excellent all-round potato to grow at home. A red skinned variety with a dry, fluffy texture making it ideal for mash, roasts and chips and with deliciously crispy skins and a buttery taste, Setanta will make the perfect baker too! It stores well so can be enjoyed for many months after harvest.
Potatoes are one of the most rewarding vegetables to grow. There’s the nurturing process of chitting, planting and earthing-up, the anticipation of a good harvest as you dig through the soil and, of course, the unbeatable taste of fresh, home-grown, potatoes.
All potatoes (except for maincrops) will benefit from ‘chitting’ prior to planting out. The chitting process encourages the seed to sprout, which then when planted, helps them to establish more readily, leading to bigger crops. Simply place them, blunt end up, in an old egg box until the shoots are approximately 1½ to 2½cm (½ to 1in).
Potatoes are delivered in 1.5kg bags, each pack containing approx. 15-20 tubers.

Please rest assured that, on the rare occasions where this proves to be the case, we will always do our very best to put things right.
Returns Policy
Seeds If you have any concerns or problems with your seeds, please return the packet to us for replacement using the returns address label on your despatch note, telling us what the problem is. Returning the packet will enable us to trace the batch from which it was packed, and to thoroughly investigate any quality control issues.

All other products Should you have any problems with live product or garden equipment items, please contact our Customer Services Team advising the nature of your concern before returning the product.
Return Postage
Costs If a product we have supplied is defective, damaged, or incorrectly supplied, we will be happy to resolve this issue at no cost, either by replacing, refunding or collecting and exchanging the item. If you wish to return a product which was correctly supplied, but which did not meet with your expectations, in accordance with your rights under The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations, we may require you to cover the cost of return. Please contact our Customer Services Team before returning the goods in this case, who will confirm the correct return address and method of return.
Refund Payments
Once a returned item arrives with us, we will refund where appropriate using the same payment method used at the time of ordering, within 14 days.
