Similar to the well known Beauregard, this variety has an intensely orange flesh with a bright orange-red skin. The thick and oval tubers have an excellent flavour and are perfect roasted or baked.

I’m so please and surprised that these sweet potatoes did so well. All five of the slips grew to maturity. I planted in very rich compost and covered them with black weed barrier. Planted first week on June and harvested first week of November. Average yield per plant was 10lbs worth. All my allotment neighbours are ordering these next year.
