Product Description
Grafted Vegetable Plant Collection
The Grafted Vegetable Plant Collection from Fothergill's includes three 9cm well-rooted plants: Tomato Supersweet F1, Cucumber Baby Rocky F1 and Aubergine Black Pearl.
Tomato Supersweet F1 – A reliable cherry tomato that produces masses of sweet red fruits, previously recognised in the 2007 Tastiest Tomato Competition.
Cucumber Baby Rocky F1 – A strong-growing cucumber that produces crisp, bite-sized fruits around 8–9cm long. It matures early and crops well in a range of temperatures, making it perfect for lunch boxes and fresh picking.
Aubergine Black Pearl – A dependable variety with a sturdy growth habit, producing large, glossy deep purple fruits. Well suited to UK conditions, the fruits are easy to harvest and the plants grow happily in containers too.
Grafted vegetable plants give improved strength, resilience and productivity, thanks to the combination of a vigorous rootstock and a high-performing variety. This results in healthier plants, better resistance to soil-borne issues and more abundant harvests. Ideal for greenhouse growing but also successful outdoors in a warm, sunny spot. Supplied as well-established 9cm plants. Leave the plastic grafting clip in place – it will naturally detach as the plant grows.
