Product Description

Autumn is a great time to plant onions, shallots and garlic as the soil is still warm and the long days give high light levels. Overwintering your alliums will allow them to develop strong root systems to see them through the winter, ready to burst in to life in early spring. These tried and tested varieties are guaranteed to produce fantastic yields of flavoursome and tender crops. Collection includes:

Onion Radar - 250g pack (80 sets):  A well established and highly favoured variety featuring good resistance to bolting and very little winter kill. The long-necked bulbs have dark skin with clean white flesh and excellent storage ability. Plant from September. Harvest from late May to June.

Shallot Jermor - 20 Shallots: An autumn planting traditional ‘Jersey longue’ shape. Certified virus free stock.

Garlic Provence Wight (Softneck Type) - 2 Bulbs:  A superb variety which produces large bulbs that, in some cases, can approach the size of Elephant garlic! The fat and juicy cloves have a delicious flavour are super roasted.
