Anemone blanda Blue Shades
The gorgeous blue shades of this delightful anemone will make a stunning, early spring carpet of colour in your beds and borders. The perfect foil for a host of early spring flowering varieties, it's spectacular when paired with the dusky purples of Fritillaria meleagris. A great one for naturalising, especially in shaded or wooded areas.
Fritillaria meleagris
Known as the snakeshead fritillary, this charming species is happy planted at the front of borders, or when allowed to naturalise in grass. Easy to grow and generally trouble free, they also look good in the vase.
