Allium Purple Sensation Bulbs produce a spectacular show of violet-purple flower heads held above strong upright stems. Plant them in clumps or drifts, with odd-numbered groups working particularly well, to create a bold architectural display through late-spring borders.

Supplied as a pack of 15 bulbs, plants reach around 90cm (3ft) and flower from May to June. The striking blooms look just as lovely in a vase indoors and are attractive to bees and butterflies. Plant from September to November in well-drained soil in full sun.

Bulb size: 12+
Bulb sizes are measured by circumference in centimetres. A 12+ bulb measures at least 12cm around. Larger bulbs generally contain more stored energy, helping to support strong growth and an impressive flowering display.
