This French-bred, highly popular potato is the salad variety of choice of many discerning chefs. The smooth skinned tubers have a light yellow flesh which has a wonderful flavour and delightfully waxy texture. A further advantage is its resistance to scab and blight making it a must for all potato lovers!
Potatoes are one of the most rewarding vegetables to grow. There's the nurturing process of chitting, planting and earthing-up, the anticipation of a good harvest as you dig through the soil and, of course, the unbeatable taste of fresh, home-grown, potatoes.
All potatoes (except for maincrops) will benefit from 'chitting' prior to planting out. The chitting process encourages the seed to sprout, which then when planted, helps them to establish more readily, leading to bigger crops. Simply place them, blunt end up, in an old egg box until the shoots are approximately 1.5 to 2.5cm (0.5 to 1in).

The Safe Haven Certification Scheme provides protection for the British potato industry and its customers from bacterial ring rot and other harmful organisms like brown rot and soft rots caused by Dickeya species. The scheme ensures that all seed is only grown from Safe Haven sourced seed or nuclear stock and this helps protect against any pests and diseases which affect potato and are not found in Britain. All our customers can therefore be assured of first class quality seed potatoes for their gardens and allotments.

Seeds If you have any concerns or problems with your seeds, please return the packet to us for replacement using the returns address label on your despatch note, telling us what the problem is. Returning the packet will enable us to trace the batch from which it was packed, and to thoroughly investigate any quality control issues.

Return Postage
Costs If a product we have supplied is defective, damaged, or incorrectly supplied, we will be happy to resolve this issue at no cost, either by replacing, refunding or collecting and exchanging the item. If you wish to return a product which was correctly supplied, but which did not meet with your expectations, in accordance with your rights under The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations, we may require you to cover the cost of return. Please contact our Customer Services Team before returning the goods in this case, who will confirm the correct return address and method of return.
