Why Grow Ornamental Grasses?

Growing ornamental grasses from seed is great for adding some variety to your outdoor space. Their swaying blades and feathery plumes catch the light and breeze, creating a calming and serene environment. They blend seamlessly with other plants, providing a versatile foundation that enhances the colours and shapes of your flowers.

Planting a good variety of ornamental grass seeds can also act as a haven for pollinators, providing food and shelter for everything from birds to hedgehogs. Pair with wildflower seeds to create a beautiful ‘meadow garden’ filled with flowers that attract wildlife.

Our ornamental grasses are easy to grow and require little ongoing maintenance. We have grass seed to suit most garden sites, from shady spots to full sun.
