Pim Dickson

About

Pim developed a keen interest in plants and nature at his grandmother’s small farm nursery which led to high school holidays working for local growers and horticultural companies. After completing university, he was drawn back to his love of plants, to work on commercial nurseries full-time. When he joined Mr Fothergill’s, it was originally as a seed buyer, but now as our resident expert, he’s responsible for all horticultural and technical content, sharing his expertise on our website, in catalogues, and through the growing advice and tips on all our seed packets.

Other interests: 

All things nature, philosophy, travel and motorcycles.

Previous Experience:

A practical horticultural background, followed by 30+ years experience, in the seed industry; as a buyer, product developer, copywriter, technical and, horticultural advisor. Working with marketing, retail, mail order, promotions, export, customer services, P.R. for a wide variety of brands. Member of the Chartered Institute of Horticulture.
