Why Choose Our Kale Seeds?

Kale is an underrated vegetable! Its robust texture and slightly peppery taste make it a useful addition to a variety of recipes. You can use it in salads, soups, Asian stir-fries, and even green smoothies for a healthy boost.

The workhorse of the winter garden, kale (or ‘curly kale’) has seen a huge increase in popularity in recent years. It’s easy to grow and doesn’t need much space, so it’s suitable for gardens of all sizes, including containers on balconies and patios. As a bonus, its earthy leaves are packed with vitamins and minerals like vitamin A, vitamin C, and calcium.

Kale seeds are some of the hardest vegetable seeds you can plant, and the young shoots, young leaves and mature leaves can all be eaten. It’s especially valuable early in the year when other fresh vegetables are scarce. Kale will also tolerate poorer, less well-prepared soil than other brassicas, like cabbage seeds and broccoli seeds.
