Mint Applemint Herb Seeds

Sow indoors: March-April, for surest results, 0.5cm(1/4in) deep, thinly in small trays of compost. Water well and place in a warm position. A temperature of 15-20oC(60-68oF) is ideal. Seedlings usually appear in 14-18 days. Transplant seedlings individually to 8cm(3in) pots when large enough to handle. Grow on in cooler, but not cold conditions (avoid frost), before planting out 30cm(1ft) apart.Sow outdoors: for ease, thinly where they are to crop, 0.5cm(1/4in) deep directly into finely prepared soil which had already been watered. Thin seedling to 30cm(1ft) apart. Cut the leaves as required, a few from each plant so they will quickly regrow. Leaves can be frozen for later use.
