Grow on in bright, frost-free conditions if needed and harden off before planting outside. Choose a sunny position with fertile, well-drained soil, spacing plants approximately 10–15cm apart and rows 25–30cm apart. Keep weed-free and water in prolonged dry spells. Lift once the foliage yellows and falls over, then dry before storing.
