Walk In Aluminium Fruit & Veg Cages with Bird Netting provide a strong and spacious solution for protecting fruit and vegetable crops from birds and animals, while still allowing essential pollinators to access plants. Standing at 1.9m (6ft 3in) high, the cage offers excellent headroom, making it comfortable to walk in and tend to crops at all stages of growth. The durable aluminium framework is connected using robust UV stabilised joiners, ensuring long-lasting strength and stability across the growing season. Each cage includes a door, which can be fitted to any side to suit your garden layout and planting needs.

Each kit is supplied complete with poles, ground anchors, netting, pegs and clips, designed for straightforward assembly and secure installation. Ground anchors help provide added stability, while clips and steel pegs ensure the netting remains firmly in place. For exposed or windy locations, additional reinforcement can be achieved using corner brace bars.

This cage includes Bird Netting - Poultry/Fruit Netting for the sides (17mm x 17mm mesh) and black bird netting for the roof (20mm x 20mm mesh). The mesh allows pollinators such as bees to access crops while helping to protect fruit and vegetables from birds, supporting a balanced and productive growing environment.

The roof section is supplied separately, allowing it to be removed easily if snow is forecast. In periods of very strong wind, it is recommended that the structure is dismantled to prevent damage.

Tubing specifications: external diameter 19mm, internal diameter 17.2mm, wall thickness 0.9mm, providing dependable strength and durability. Full instructions and diagrams are included with every cage to support easy construction and setup.
