Description

Triteleia Queen Fabiola Fine clusters of violet-blue flowers with a darker line down each petal give this lovely summer bulb a graceful, light, airy appearance. Its slender stems add movement to borders without hiding the plants around them.

Try a handful of bulbs together in a sunny patio pot or tuck them between other flowers for a natural, relaxed look. The blooms are also pretty in a vase, and the narrow leaves fade as the flowers begin to open.

Growing advice: Plant in spring in well-drained soil or a deep container in full sun. Water while shoots and flowers are growing, then reduce watering after the leaves die back. In colder gardens, protect from frost and prolonged winter wet; a pot that can be moved under cover is a good choice. Flowering stems can reach around 60cm.
