The star jasmine is an evergreen climber with a wonderfully exotic appeal, producing clusters of sweetly fragrant, star-shaped flowers.

This collection includes the following varieties:

Trachelospermum jasminoides.

The vigorous and free-flowering original species, with remarkably fragrant, star-shaped white flowers which slowly mature from white to pastel cream shades over time. The season of interest extends right into autumn with its evergreen, glossy, oval, leaves transforming into bronze-purple and bronze-red tones in as temperatures fall. Height 6m (20').

Trachelospermum jasminoides Star of Toscana.

An evergreen climber with large clusters of long flowering, starry yellow flowers and a delightful, exotic perfume that fills the air around it. The flowering display is complemented by lush, dark green foliage which turns to a deep bronze in winter to extend the period of interest. Blooms freely from summer through to autumn. Height 3m (10').

Trachelospermum asiaticum Pink Showers.

The hardiest of the star jasmine species, also knwn as Chinese or Asiatic Jasmine, this charming evergreen climber features exquisite candy-pink, star-shaped flowers that bloom from June to September and boast an irresistible fragrance. Embrace the allure of the first pink star jasmine, specially cultivated for UK gardens. Height 3m (10').
