Description
Tomato Buffalo Steak F1 Grafted Vegetable Plants are a cut above the rest! These beefsteak tomatoes have meaty, bright red flesh and an old-fashioned, rich tomato flavour. Early and more productive than many similar varieties, they are indeterminate and continue cropping throughout a long growing season, giving gardeners a reliable, high-quality harvest.
Grafted vegetable plants provide greater vigour and improved resistance to soil-borne pests and diseases, such as nematodes – particularly useful in greenhouse borders where rotation is limited. The grafting process combines a strong species rootstock with a hybrid variety to produce plants that are vigorous, healthy, and capable of yielding more fruits.
Although traditionally greenhouse grown, they also crop well in warm, sunny outdoor positions. Supplied as well-established plants in 9cm pots. Please note – do not remove the plastic grafting clip, which will fall off naturally as the plant grows.
