Product Description

Shrub Rose Trio Bare Root Plants Collection brings together three beautifully contrasting varieties, each selected for their unique charm, fragrance and long-standing garden performance. Perfect for borders or mixed rose plantings, these hardy shrub roses add colour, shape and scent to any sunny space.

Includes one each of the following varieties:

  • Rose Alba Maxima – A graceful, rounded shrub with double white blooms that open with a bluish tint and are followed by ornamental hips. A timeless beauty dating back centuries.
  • Rose Cornelia – Clusters of small, copper-apricot to blush-pink flowers with a warm scent. This reliable variety has a lovely, arching habit and good repeat flowering.
  • Rose Buff Beauty – A classic 1939 variety producing large trusses of warm, apricot-toned double flowers. Its soft colouring and gentle fragrance make it a favourite for training or as a free-standing shrub.

Shrub Rose: Shrub Roses are usually the largest of the bush roses. They are great for back of borders or dividing spaces in the garden with a mounding spreading shape. Usually their flowers are large and can be single, semi or double flowering. Their flowers are produced all the way along their stems giving a fantastic display for a long period and can be highly fragrant too.

These roses are supplied as 2 year old bare root plants with 2 to 3 main branches (breaks).

Planting advice: Plant bare root roses outdoors from October to March. Soak the roots in water (preferably overnight) before planting. Choose a sunny or partially shaded spot with well-drained soil. Dig a hole large enough to accommodate the roots comfortably, and plant deeply enough to cover the graft union (where the branches meet the main stem) just below soil level. Water well after planting and mulch to retain moisture.
