Product Description
Salvia Raspberry Melba Flower Plants
Masses of soft pastel-pink bicoloured flowers are produced from May through to October, creating a gentle yet eye-catching display in beds, borders, and containers. The Melba series is known for its neat, compact growth and semi-evergreen aromatic foliage, making it an easy choice for gardeners looking to enjoy long-lasting colour with minimal effort. Large, two-tone blooms with dark calyxes add depth and contrast, while also being a magnet for pollinators. Thriving in full sun and well-drained soil, these plants are drought tolerant and hardy in most situations, with a little extra protection recommended in frost pockets or very wet, cold winters.
Young Plants
Grown in individual large plug cells measuring up to 12cm (4.8in) in height. Plants are well rooted and will be supplied (where necessary) with the central stem ‘pinched’ to encourage strong and bushy growth. The foliage height will vary according to variety, but on average will be between 4 and 8cm. On arrival, simply pot up into 6 or 7cm pots, or, if you have room, plant directly into baskets and containers and keep somewhere warm and light. A full and complete growing guide will be included with your plants to help you achieve the best results.
