Rhubarb Timperley Early Crowns are ideal when you can't wait for the first home-grown rhubarb of the year. This RHS Award of Garden Merit variety is an early, heavy cropper with thick red-based stems and is particularly well suited to forcing for an even earlier crop of tender pink stalks.
Our one-year-old crowns are freshly lifted and ready to establish in fertile, moisture-retentive soil. Give them time to settle in, then enjoy a dependable perennial harvest for crumbles, pies and other family favourites.
