After extensive trials to find an outstanding new variety, Crumble King impressed us with its vigorous growth, reliable performance and truly distinctive flavour, making it one of the finest rhubarbs we have ever tasted.

Supplied as either 3 x 2 Litre Potted Plants, 1 x 9cm Potted Plant or 3 x 9cm Potted Plants, this hardy perennial produces attractive rosy-red flushed stems that are as beautiful in the garden as they are on the plate. Ideal for crumbles, pies and preserves, its deliciously tart flavour is equally at home in cocktails, desserts and panna cotta, offering plenty of culinary inspiration throughout the growing season.

Plant in full sun or partial shade in fertile, moisture-retentive soil, either in the vegetable garden, allotment or a large container. Once established, Crumble King forms compact, productive clumps that return year after year, rewarding you with reliable harvests from spring through to autumn. For the best results, allow plants time to establish before taking heavy harvests.
