Product Description

Rhubarb Crumble King

An exclusive variety to the Mr Fothergill’s range, this variety has been aptly named by one of our customers, and they’re right – it’s the king of the humble crumble! It’s probably one of the best Rhubarb’s we’ve ever tasted, surpassing varieties that we tried and tested while looking for a new Rhubarb to add to the range. With a truly distinct flavour, Rhubarb Crumble King has rosy-red flushed stems, making it a beauty to look at, as well as taste. If you’re not a fan of crumble, why not try adding it to a cocktail or panna cotta for a beautifully tart taste.

Satisfied Customer

The plant arrived in good condition, it is now in the ground and growing. At this stage I cannot add much more. Once it has grown sufficiently for me to cut the stems and cook them, I will be able to tell you how good they taste.

The plants do not travel well.

The first plant I received was very badly damaged and smashed to bits. I contacted Fothergills customer service and they were very helpful and sent me a new plant. Upon receiving the second plant I opened the box to discover that this one was also damaged. I don't think the plants travel well so in future I would buy direct from a garden centre,.
