Product Description
Oh Sow Simple Poached Egg Plant Seeds from Fothergills are a fantastic addition to any garden, offering vibrant blooms while attracting beneficial insects. This hardy annual can be sown directly where it is to flower, thriving in rockeries, pots, or as a charming border edging plant. Its low-growing nature makes it ideal for smaller spaces or areas that need a touch of color.Sow the seeds outdoors at a depth of 0.5cm in finely prepared, pre-watered soil. Seedlings typically appear within 14–28 days and should be thinned to 10cm apart once established. Water the plants well until they become fully established. For continuous flowering, make sowings every two to three weeks. Planting in gentle curves rather than straight lines creates a more pleasing and natural look.Late summer and autumn sowings will flower the following year, often blooming earlier than spring sowings. The Poached Egg Plant adds both beauty and ecological value to your garden by attracting pollinators and other beneficial insects.
