Lingonberry Fruit Plant

Very well suited to our climate, this low growing and spreading variety (up to 20cm/8in) is perfect for containers, as well as the fruit garden. Similar to the Cranberry but heavier cropping, the tart berries make wonderful additions to jams and preserves, sauces and juices. The attractive white blossom is followed by the fruits from late July. We offer all our potted fruit plants in 2ltr pots, this will give you an older, more established plant with a bigger root ball than those offered in 9cm pots. The extra space gives the roots more room to grow, which in turn allows them to absorb more nutrients leading to a stronger plant that will establish more quickly and fruit more prolifically to begin with.
