Jostaberry Fruit Plant is a wonderfully unusual cross between blackcurrant and gooseberry, bringing the best of both to the home fruit garden. Its vigorous bushes are thornless, so the dark red-black berries are easy to pick when they ripen through July and August.

The self-fertile fruit starts with a gooseberry-like flavour and becomes more blackcurrant-like as it matures. Enjoy it fresh, bake it into family pies or turn a generous harvest into jams and preserves. The plants also offer natural resistance to gooseberry mildew and leaf spot.
