Description
Duke Blueberry 1 x 2ltr Potted Plant is a rewarding early blueberry, producing good crops of firm, medium to large blue berries with a pleasing flavour. The fruit keeps well after picking, so there is plenty of time to enjoy your home-grown harvest fresh, in breakfasts or in favourite summer desserts.
This hardy, upright bush grows to around 2m and flowers relatively late, which helps it avoid some spring frost damage. After fruiting, its foliage turns attractive shades of red and yellow in autumn. Grow in acidic, moisture-retentive but well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade, or use a generous container filled with ericaceous compost.
Supplied as an established 2 litre potted plant, ready to settle into the garden and become part of many summers of home-grown fruit picking.
