SOW INDOORS February-May, 0.5cm (1/4") deep, on edge, in small pots of compost. Keep moist and warm at approx. 21-24°C (70-75°F). When the seedlings have developed 3 or 4 leaves, transplant to 12cm (5") pots.
OR SOW OUTDOORS for ease May-June, 0.5cm (1/4") deep where they are to crop. Sow two seeds per position. Allow 60cm (2') between rows. When large enough, thin to leave one strongest plant per position. Protect young plants with cloches in cold weather.
HARVEST: June-October when fruits are approx. 15cm (6") long.
MR F'S TIP: Once fruit form, regular feeding will ensure the best crop.

How to grow Cucumber ‘La Diva’ seeds

Sow ‘La Diva’ Cucumber seeds indoors from February to May. Plant seeds 0.5cm (1/4in) deep, on their edge, in small pots filled with compost. Keep the compost moist and maintain a warm temperature of around 21-24°C (70-75°F). Once the seedlings develop three or four leaves each, transplant them into 12cm (5in) pots.

For outdoor sowing, plant seeds directly where they will grow from May to June. Sow them 0.5cm (1/4in) deep, placing two seeds per position with 60cm (2ft) between rows. Once the seedlings are large enough, thin them out, leaving the strongest plant in each position. Protect young plants with cloches if the weather is cold. Keep your cucumber plants well-watered and in a sunny, sheltered spot. Once fruits begin to form, feed regularly for best results.

Harvest from June to October when the cucumbers reach around 15cm (6in) in length.

Cucumber ‘La Diva’ plants typically grow to around 1.5-2m (5-6ft) in height when supported. They are vigorous climbers, so providing a trellis or support will help them grow upright and produce healthy fruits.
