Product Description

Our Dwarf Sensation cosmos mixed seeds offer a vibrant blend of beautiful red, pink, and white flowers. Originally from Mexico, these cosmos feature daisy-like blooms atop tall, slender stems, reaching about 60cm (24") in height. They grow best in a warm, sunny position in free-draining soils. Very fertile soils may promote foliage production at the expense of flowers.

Few half-hardy annuals can match cosmos (or Cosmea) when it comes to filling gaps in borders, where its ethereal, ferny foliage and large, elegant blooms are sure to turn heads. They also make a magnificent centrepiece to island beds and look particularly striking when grown in large, informal drifts - especially when a summer breeze is rustling through the plants.

These dwarf cosmos flower seeds will bloom the same year they're sown. Lower growing than many other cosmos, they're ideal for front of borders and are also a good choice for exposed, windy positions. You can even grow these versatile flowers in large containers on a sunny patio.

Order your cosmos mixed seeds today and fill your garden with a riot of colour. They pair beautifully with our Zinnia seeds or Antirrhinum seeds for a vibrant and cheerful display.

Good germination

Even with this, rather cold and wet weather and the fact my sowing is a little late, the Cosmos have germinated well and are growing
