Compact Sweet Pepper Grafted Collection-April makes it easy to enjoy a colourful mixture of sweet peppers picked fresh from your own garden. The collection includes one plant each of Pillar Sweet Red, Pillar Sweet Yellow and Pillar Sweet Orange, bringing three vibrant colours together for a varied and rewarding home-grown harvest. Compact and upright, the plants are ideal for patios, containers and smaller growing spaces.

The fruits begin green before ripening to rich red, bright yellow and vivid orange, creating a wonderfully colourful crop to pick and enjoy together. Sweet and versatile, they are perfect for adding fresh flavour and crunch to salads and lunchboxes, roasting for family meals or simply enjoying straight from the plant.

Grafted vegetable plants offer greater vigour and improved resistance to soil-borne pests and diseases, such as nematodes – particularly useful when growing in greenhouse border soil each year where crop rotation can be limited. The grafting process brings together a vigorous species rootstock and a productive hybrid variety, helping to create stronger plants capable of producing more fruits, heavier yields and a longer productive life than standard seedlings.

Although traditionally grown in a greenhouse, these plants can also crop well outdoors in a warm, sunny and sheltered position. Keep them well watered and fed during active growth to encourage plenty of colourful peppers throughout the cropping season. Please do not remove the plastic grafting clips – they will fall off naturally as the plants grow.
