Product Description

A compact shrub that only grows to about 1.2m (4ft) tall, but has in-bred frost resistance and some resistance to mildew. In mid-July, a heavy and delicious crop of large blackcurrants is produced which are perfect for serving fresh or made into jams, jellies or pies. The fruit should be picked quickly before it falls.

Our range of potted soft fruit plants are easy to grow and high yielding, nothing beats the flavour of home-grown fruit fresh from the garden.

We offer all our potted fruit plants in 2lt pots, this will give you an older, more established plant with a bigger root ball than those offered in 9cm pots. The extra space gives the roots more room to grow, which in turn allows them to absorb more nutrients leading to a stronger plant that will establish more quickly and fruit more prolifically to begin with.
