Blackberry Chester Fruit Plant (Floricane)

Late season Bred in America, this variety is proven to crop and grow well in the UK. Producing an excellent yield of first class quality fruit, picking is easy on the upright growing, thornless canes. A late season variety ready for picking from mid August through to first frosts. Perfect for puddings, these berries will extend summer into autumn. We offer all our potted fruit plants in 2ltr pots, this will give you an older, more established plant with a bigger root ball than those offered in 9cm pots. The extra space gives the roots more room to grow, which in turn allows them to absorb more nutrients leading to a stronger plant that will establish more quickly and fruit more prolifically to begin with. Floricane varieties fruit on canes produced in the previous year while Primocane varieties produce fruits on current season growth.
